Tied up, reeking, roped
to his betraying airplane, to his betrayals,
the betrayed betrayer bums.
Like phosphorus his kidneys bum
and his sinister betraying soldier’s
mouth melts in curses,
piloted through the eternal flames,
guided and burnt by airplanes,
burnt from betrayal to betrayal.
